John kanzius

Sunday, April 13th, 2008

John Kanzius is from Erie, Pennsylvania. He owned Jet Broadcasting until he retired about a year ago. He also is an inventor. He believed that he could use radio frequency to cure cancer without the horrible side effects associated with other cancer treatments. His cancer fighting machine is called Kanzius RF therapy and was featured on 60 Minutes.

Six years ago Kanzius was diagnosed with terminal leukemia. He has been subjected with 36 rounds of chemotherapy in the years since his diagnosis. He is very humble about his invention. He emphasizes that he doesn’t want to give people false hope and that he’s not a ‘cancer expert’. Even so, his invention is being recognized by the most respected experts in the field of cancer research as the ‘most exciting cancer therapy’ to have come on the scene in over twenty years.

When Kanzius first started working on his machine his wife thought he had lost his mind. She reminded him that doctors haven’t found a cure for cancer so it was unlikely he could. He has said that sometimes it takes someone on the outside with a different perspective to see something those on the inside aren’t seeing. He said it wasn’t his own cancer that motivated him, but the eyes of the children on the cancer wards he saw when he went to get his own treatment.

In spite of all the odds, it seems that his machine is working, at least with some forms of cancer. Trials of the RF treatment have shown that the machine kills 100 percent of malignant cells in humans and animals without harming surrounding healthy tissue.

This week, Kanzius was awarded the 2008 Louis J. Tullio Community Service Award by the Erie Regional Chamber and Growth Partnership. He accepted the award via a pre-recorded video (you can view the video below the jump) from his home in Florida. Kanzius has formed a company, Therm Med LLC, to promote the commercial development of his cancer-killing machine.

Masters coverage

Friday, April 11th, 2008

DirecTV’s special deal to show the Masters on five different channels does for golf fans what NFL Sunday Ticket does for football fans, and I don’t think I’m overstating things when I call it a great step forward for sports on television.

The satellite provider is showing the regular ESPN Masters feed in high definition on Channel 707, highlights from today’s earlier rounds in high definition on Channel 708, Amen Corner in high definition on Channel 709 and Holes 15 and 16 in high definition on Channel 710.

And then there’s what you see above, which is a picture I just took of my own TV screen. That’s Channel 706, the Masters Mix Channel, which constantly shows the leaderboard on the left and the other four Masters channels in smaller boxes in the right and center of the screen, meaning you can monitor everything. Bonus: The four channels show their commercials at different times, so you can easily scroll around with your remote and avoid them. The Masters Mix is absolutely incredible.

DirecTV will keep this in place through all four days of the Masters. Kudos to DirecTV, CBS, ESPN and Augusta National for making this happen.

American idol results april 10

Friday, April 11th, 2008

American Idol results were coming in over the next hour and Gambling911.com is here live with who got voted off and who is safe for another week.  Carrie Stroup has the night off.  This is Jordan Bach reporting.

Heading into Thursday night’s results show it appeared as if Syesha Mercado and Carly Smithson were the most likely to be going home after preliminary numbers.  Also likely to appear in the bottom three: David Cook or Michael Johns.

Surprisingly, despite a somewhat lackluster performance, and one that none of us here at Gambling911.com can even remember - Brooke White did not appear to have the lowest vote count nor did it seem she would be among the bottom three.  But anything is possible.

The only safe Idols for sure seemed to be David Archuleta - with the most votes, Jason Castro and Kristy Lee Cook, who had her best performance of the season this week.

This week’s Results Show was coming a day later as a result of Idol Gives Back being broadcast Wednesday night.  Over $60 million was raised heading into Thursday night’s Results Show and money was still being raised.

Refresh this page during the hour to get all the latest American Idol results.  Find out who’s safe, who’s in the bottom three and ultimately, who got voted off.

Brooke White was safe.

David Cook was safe.

David Archuleta was safe.

Jason Castro safe.

Kristy Lee Cook safe.

Seysha and Carly safe.

Speedo lzr

Friday, April 11th, 2008

The Speedo LZR racer swimsuit has become the champion swimsuit yet again Thursday.

Jessica Hardy, who wore the Speedo LZR, set a record in the women’s 50-meter breaststroke at the short-course swimming world championships on Thursday.

Hardy, 21, finished in 29.58 seconds to shave 0.32 off the record, garnering yet another record by a person who wore the high-tech suit.

The Speedo LZR racer swimsuit has been worn in 22 of the 23 records that have been broken since its release in February.

The Speedo LZR is built with a girdle meant to hold a swimmer’s body in the best position as he or she moves through the water.

The governing body of swimming decided last weekend not to ban the new Speedo LZR racer swimsuit, despite claims of buoyancy and “technological doping” by several critics.

The Speedo LZR racer swimsuits, which is said to have been designed by NASA, cost $500 in retail price.

I am a even bigger fan of the Survivor series than that other person. I have wrote regarding the entire season schedule a great many times.

Jeff discussed the conference call that was all related to the Survivor Ponderosa which is to be announced on CBS.

Their is more confirmed events on the internet that Jeff Probst will not be returning to the long time program and will be replaced by Jason Taylor. I can’t wait to see Jeff gone from Survivor Ponderosa, since he is the Survivor Series weakest link.

Islands in the stream lyrics

Friday, April 11th, 2008

Baby, when I met you there was peace unknown
I set out to get you with a fine tooth comb
I was soft inside, there was somethin going on
You do something to me that I cant explain
Hold me closer and I feel no pain
Every beat of my heart
We got somethin goin on
Tender love is blind
It requires a dedication
All this love we feel
Needs no conversation
We ride it together, ah-ah
Makin love with each other, ah-ah

Chorus:

Islands in the stream
That is what we are
No one in-between
How can we be wrong
Sail away with me to another world
And we rely on each other, ah-ah
From one lover to another, ah-ah

I cant live without you if the love was gone
Everything is nothin if you got no one
And you did walk in tonight
Slowly loosen sight of the real thing

But that wont happen to us and we got no doubt
Too deep in love and we got no way out
And the message is clear
This could be the year for the real thing

No more will you cry
Baby, I will hurt you never
We start and end as one, in love forever
We can ride it together, ah-ah
Makin love with each other, ah-ah

Borderline lyrics

“Borderline Lyrics”
Blaspherereion Lyrics
Bleeding death, undead, broke the seal Suhrim Desecrate, evil ghost Thoth freed him Mass destruction, ended lives, blasphemation, you will die
You call every hour, but there’s nothing to say
So talk to me now, before it’s too late
Oh they say it couldn’t happen, but I saw your picture breathe
That fifty dollar doctor said your love is a disease

I’m alright, I’m okay
Still I don’t know how, and I don’t know why
But the talk turns to shopLove is Stranger than Fiction Lyrics
There are walls before me There are walls all around me And walls that keep me safe There are secrets, and strategies hide-outs and ci, and so we stand on the edge of goodbye
Is this the end of the beginning, or beginning of an end
Are you friend or the enemy, or enemy or the friend

I walk the borderline
Between day and the night, wrong and the right
Borderline
The voices they scream from inside of me
On the borderline
I wAfterlife Lyrics
I am the vengeance, a link between the worlds Souring in legions, controller of all I am the substance of the chaos There’s one dominion, an evil and dalk the borderline

I hear talk on the streets, I hear rumors of you
The people I meet say, that the lies are all true
And I wake up in a cold sweat, find you lying fast asleep
Is my dream a reality, reality a dream

I’ve crossed the borderline
between day and the night, wrong and the right
BoBaphomet’s Call Lyrics
Alone I walk under the freezing moon. The meaning of my life is broken. I wonder the insanity of mundane travelling. The knife of distress ripping mrderline
The voices they scream from inside of me
On the borderline
I walk the borderline

I walk the borderline
between day and the night, wrong and the right
Borderline
The voices they scream from inside of me
On the borderline
I walk the borderline
Yeah, yeah, yeah

Rooted in Family Farms
In the mid-1980s, family farmers across America were in the fight of their lives. Prices had dropped below the cost of production. Family farmers were told they were inefficient and they had to either get big or get out. Deeply flawed national and international policies were the root cause of the crisis. A galvanizing effort to save the family farm helped spawn the Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy (IATP). In 1986, IATP began documenting the underlying causes of America’s rural crisis and proposing policies that would benefit farmers, consumers, rural communities and the environment.

Facing Globalization
IATP works with organizations around the world to analyze how global trade agreements impact domestic farm and food policies. Alongside a global coalition, IATP advocates for fair trade policies that promote strong health standards, labor and human rights, the environment and, most fundamentally, democratic institutions.

Building Sustainability
We are developing alternative economic models that include clean sources of energy such as wind power and biofuel that would spur rural development. We’re working with landowners to form cooperatives that promote sustainable forest management. We’re advocating for green businesses and farms that reduce toxic runoff into the Great Lakes and Mississippi River.

Safe Food, Healthy Ecosystems
We are working to stop the overuse of antibiotics in agriculture and aquaculture, while limiting the release of mercury and other toxic pollutants that fall onto farmland and enter the food supply. IATP is also monitoring the impact of genetically engineered crops on the environment, human health and farmer income.
