Friday, May 2nd, 2008The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, originally written by Washington Irving in the 1800’s, is still a popular story amongst society. With Irving’s companion piece “Rip Van Winkle”, “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” is among the earliest examples of American fiction still read today.

According to this, the Washington Irving story was a little ‘white-washed’ and the events that take place here are the real deal.
